Beginner Help?

I have read thru alot of posts to not waste anyones time, but apologies i cant get mt ds games to work.

Just bought DS today got R4-III upgrade and Kingston 2gb micro sd.

Downloaded couple of games and screen said no menu.dat file, so as per forum advice formatted my sd card, and downloaded and installed new firmware from linfox
R4-III / R4 Upgrade (r4dsl.net, r4iiinew.com, r4iii.com, iii.phqy.net)

Copied all files to sd card along with some games, and now screen freezes at loading every time.....

Cant think wot to do??? :-(

for mat it again youa rent doing osmething rigth.

when you unzip your file that has all the file be sure to create first one called "games" now drag the roms to game and after drag the files your R4 needs, otherwise it wont run,

 

I have done as you advise.

Re formatted SD card.

Re copied all files onto SD card from Firmware for R4 III.

Placed Games into folder and Named folder Games.

start DS and get welcome nintendo screen then screens are black with top screen saying 'loading....' and it just sits like that. :'(

What is the website on the back of your box?

i think that means i downloaded the appropriate file....boo hoo hoo... :'(

 

You could try the other R4 III loaders. If those don't work do you have another microsd you could try?

i tried the other loaders... no joy, also tried other sd card... no joy :'(

any other suggestions?

 

If it's still doing the same thing then it could just be the R4 =/
