Yes it's a Smash Bros. clone, but with Dragon Ball Z, One Piece & Naruto Characters in it, Hence D. O. N. .
If only it was released in the states. Makes me wish there were more multi-fighting games like this ;D
Probably similar to Jump Ultimate Stars. The licensing issues dealing with so many copyrighted characters makes it difficult to bring to foreign shores.
I think it would too. I don't know why they can have issues if these shows are doing so well in the US; Maybe except for One Piece
It's not the shows per se, it's the characters & copyrights issues that hinders games like these from getting ported outside Japan. If this game was to be released outside Japan, the game companies will need to pay for the copyrights of character trademarks to be used in the game, and sometimes the cost for paying for these copyrights out weigh the projected profits of a game (assuming there won't be much audiences for the game) so instead of risking a "risky" game, game publishers choose not to go with the risks & lose profits.
