Battle & Get! Pokémon Typing DS - AP Topic

The new game 'Battle & Get! Pokémon Typing DS' has Anti-Piracy.

What is the AP?
Whenever you try to boot up the ROM, you will get a black screen saying you need a wireless keyboard. There is a patch to fix that, but after that problem, another one will come. The second problem is not being able to save, the game says it is saving the game, but after restarting, your save file is gone.

My screen will stay white, even after I patched the game!
Whenever you load up a patched ROM, it will take 10 to 15 seconds to load. After that it's trying to connect to the wireless keyboard, but since you don't have it (I think) it won't find the keyboard. Just keep pressing A until you reach the home screen and you can start, because there will be a touch-keyboard on the touchscreen!

Patches/Fixes
Dicastia AP Patch v0.2 | This AP patch will let you pass the black screen. You will need a save patch after this.

No$Gba Fix
Ok, the first thing you need to do is download the full No$Gba package here: No$Gba Full Package
After you've downloaded the package, boot a working game trough No$Gba, after that press the F11 key and set the 'Reset/Startup Entry Point' to 'GBA BIOS (Nintendo Logo)'. Now open No$zoomer.ini and edit UseCrypt=0 to UseCrypt=1 and save the .ini file. Open up No$zoomer and boot up the patched ROM!

Frist you need to open no$gba with any game that works, F11 key and set , reset/startup entrypoint , and select, GBA BIOS (Nintendo Logo), save no$gba settings!

You need the firmware.bin that you can get in this full package http://www.mediafire.com/?js0l3kmi9pxigiu

Open no$zoomer.ini file and edit UseCrypt=0 to UseCrypt=1 and save the .ini file

Run no$zoomer and loaded the patched ROM!

Just had a thought, Dose anyone have a (RTS) file to post hear ?, Maybe Re-Name it and use it with your ROM may work....

hey jhon, tested your thought on that, but the RTS save is a different size than the normal save, also from what i can tell it is saving, but once you restart the game, it refuses to read the save

i might have found the issue while running with a debugger on a emulator, so im going to test this out and see if this does the trick ^_^

edit: ok, just tried what i found and it seems we might have an issue, when i changed the hex info for the game, it reverts the patch for the wireless keyboard, so i think the big N finally found a way to stop pirates on this game >_>

A RTS file is something completey different from a normal save file. I would like to explain it to you, but right now I'm typing from my BlackBerry.

A POKEMON typing game

 

from what i can tell, it does create a save for it on the DSTwo cards but after you turn the system off, it refuses to read from it

right now, i have been wrapping what i could and see if i could find anything that could help with this

as the main thing in this thread, if you use the RTS then yeah you can technically save that way but its a major hassle to do that everytime >_> sorry i dont mean to belly ache about this issue
