Banjo Kazooie Grunty's Revenge (GBA) Freezes upon load

So I am using a Super Card SD emulator with my Gameboy Micro, I downloaded and patched many games from Romulation and they all worked fine. But, I've tried and tried the Banjo game and it will load like everything is fine, then it will get to the Pre-game credit stuff, then will not go any further...

I don't know if it's the Rom or the card, I've tried downloading a copy of the game from another site, but the same problem occurs..

Any advice or help would be much appreciated,

Im having the same prroblem. Still trying to find a fix, I heard patching it works but still haven't figured it out. In the meantime 1904 - Banjo-Kazooie - La Venganza de Grunty (S) works – Spanish copy.

 

It's a problem with the game. The same thing happens on the GPSPKai emulator on the PSP. Not sure what it is, but the only way I can ever play it is on my EZ Flash IV or an emulator on the computer or Wii.
