Just an idea, but I was thinking maybe there should be a list of people who have been banned and the reason they have been banned so that users of the forums could learn from the other users' mistakes and perhaps not repeat them. Plus it'd be fun to read.

This would promote permanent bans and pretty soon I would be gone forever, this is a terrible idea

I think they have a list of banned members in the Mod section.

The one's already banned are banned for...

    -Trolling
    -Making multiple accounts
-Flame wars that have gotten WAY out of hand
-Spamming REALLY excessively (tied with trolling as well, spamming alone just make you look like me an idiot)

And those members banned have "banned" as their "title", like how most of us are member, mod, etc...

I know, I'd be worried to, I even try to help the mods, I even weaseled out a few bad members...infact I'm tracking one now....not in this thread :p

What can i say, need to stop posting out of impulse....shame that's how I do everything...stupid animal instincts.

    Nah, he means me ;)

A ban list, reminds me of SA, they have a ban list too.

I doubt it would make people get banned to try and get on the list

Leave the little one, he's only 11...and seriously after some of the crap I went thru to calm him down (he's a kid, a soft kid, logic hurts more than a punch in the face sometimes :( )

Once he's older he'll be wiser than all of us-I never started using the internet until I was 17 because of limited access :p

Leave YoshiFlip out of this. Also as Littlekill said it would promote permament bans.

So do the rest of us, and your point?

    Thank you.

...but once the mod's see this, it's their choice on what happens.

As long as the current warning system is in place it's all good.

I hate to have permanent marks...and since I can't see how close I am is does worry someone who does...have a bad habit of blundering/making his own trouble :(

And we'd loose littlekill in an instant if this comes into affect.

Actually...that would mean stricter rules. If one should violate a rule, instead of a warning or a temp-ban, it would mean that a perma-ban will be quickly placed on the user.

In other words...you get a whack with the ban hammer if you piss-off Seph, Loony or any mods just once.

Exactly. Then the god of LKism would fade. :(

How about a list of watched members instead?

(Then again, you can already see that by looking at their posts in the forum).

    lol...

And I agree, this would promote longer bans, and even permanent bans. Since it promotes people not to break the rules, the people who do will get shorter warnings and faster bans.

What is this sham-pain you are talking about?
And if this will happen, will the Homepage display a message everytime someone is banned?
    Code:
[User] has been banned for [Reason]. Heed this warning.
    Or maybe an RSS Feed?
