  1. Your FFIX disc 1 bin has a bad header - other files in Iso format seem fine. Checksum seems valid, so the file must have been corrupted before it was compressed.

this has already been discussed several, several times now.

I think Seph is uploading a new one.

  3. I KNEW I should have checked the history more thoroughly... Well, I was quite thorough, but couldn't find anything. I've already checked the site for a working file; got one from Emulation>PSX. That file seems fine; at least, it loads up okay.

    Sorry to bother.

    What emulator are you using?

I remember specifically in Disc 1 where Zidane and Garnet hop onto an airship (near Black Waltz 2 or 3) the game freezes in ePSXe 1.6.0.

Be sure to use ePSXe 1.5.2 or 1.7.0.

When that first happened, I had thought it was a bad image file. 5 image files later, I realized it was the emulator.

Err, that one IS the new one, and MagicISO did not report any errors...

At least you can play it, I get a few bad header ROMs from RomUlation which still work nonetheless.

  7. Thanks for your concern, everyone. I'm using 1.70. And don't worry - the issue is now resolved. (The file didn't load at all - never thought to disable MDECs...)
