Youtube - Baby Falls Underneath moving train and survives
A six-month-old baby has survived being dragged more than 30 metres by a train after his pram rolled onto tracks.

CCTV footage of the incident has been released to the media.

The video shows the moment the buggy slipped from the mother's grasp and rolled off the platform unnoticed.

When the mother realises what has happened she runs to the edge of the platform and reaches helplessly towards her son.

Just a split second later she is forced to watch as a train enters the station, running into her child's pram.

Fortunately, the train was slowing to stop so he suffered only. a bump to his head and was taken to the Melbourne's Royal Children's Hospital in a stable condition.

Someone doesn't deserve custody of a certain something.

"We're not suggesting that the mother did anything wrong"

Someone should show him that video... then sit him down and explain to him whats wrong with the video, then promptly slap him in the face.

It's funny, and shows the double standard held between neglectful mothers and neglectful fathers.

This mother turns around to do something, and the baby falls into the path of an oncoming train (most of the times this is fatal, this time she was lucky). People defend her and say it was a horrible accident and she didn't do anything wrong.

A few weeks ago there was a story of a man who turned around to kiss his Mistress, and the baby stroller fell into the water. This man was demonified by the media, how horrible he was for taking his eyes off his baby in a stroller for even a moment, especially to kiss a woman he wasn't married to!

But since it was a male, the person was easier to hate.

    How true.

I saw a bit of this on the news...

Now I know the full details (since I only heard the kid was safe) I'd like to tell the mother...

"don't these things come with brakes"?

I seen a few in my life time-I'd give examples but my childhood is a crazy experience :p

Or a needless sacrific to save the baby and kill yourself, if luck goes the way i think it does.

Seriously-people need to keep an eye on things.

If I'm moving a trolley-I always make sure it's gonna stay put.

Seeing as my job requires it, I learnt the art well-even on a slanted road I can make the biggest loads remain still...except on windy days.

...in that case I kamikaze after the load-because it's always going after a BMW for some reason...I hate to hit that thing :(

YUP-with any excuse-sure women deserve the right to do what men do...

But really-they are being treated better than men-not equally.
