    Hey,

I hope there is no such topic by now. I have been using the search funktion (gave back anything & nothing) ??? ...
I am desperatly in search for a movie lovestory I can stand, cause I hate most of those hollywood shit. A friend of mine wants to watch some movies at my place and cause she doesn't watch anything else then lovestories and I am that picky ... I did not turn out easy to find something:
    - with not that many kissing scenes ...
    - no kitschy unrealistic dialogues ...
    - no world war scenario
[- no anime / she would not watch]

Okay, I thought may be one could find new titles in this male dominated forum ::) ...

And my favourites by now are

    - Bin Yip / 3 Iron :

So...do you mind if they are partly comody/horror?

    I have but one...

I forgot the name-but it's about a couple out on a honey moon, something happens to the man, and he becomes a zombie...

For some reason he attacks everyone BUT the girl-who is trying to find a cure AND save him-despite being undead...

Til death do us part prehaps...I dunno-forgot name...

That is an interesting title...very long...

Never heard of it-I'm guessing it's not a typical westernized film XD

I was going to recommend some movies but a lot of them are set during wars, so...

How about Il Mare...? It's the Korean film The Lake House was based on, about a couple from different time periods who communicate through a mailbox.

Let the Right One In isn't exactly the most romantic movie ever, but it's a pretty good Swedish film about the friendship/love between a vampire and a kid. And it's nothing like Twilight or any of those annoying vampire books/movies now :/ Definitely worth a watch.

More mainstream romantic movies I like are Closer (lot of kissing and sex scenes though), 500 Days of Summer and Big Fish (though that's not really a romantic movie).

Sleepless in Seattle is of course, the standard. Or the remake of Romeo and Juliet (with Dicaprio) is surprisingly not bad.
