"listentoyoutube" doesn't seem to want to work on my end anymore. It will try to extract and convert a Youtube video's audio track for me but will eventually fail the conversion. In case anyone replies, "JUST BUY THE DAMNED MUSIC YOU WANT"... some of the songs I try to get from Youtube are from local artists and some of 'em are no longer sold at stores. I can't even find 'em on torrent sites, because some of 'em are very obscure nowadays, or were just "novelty" songs at one time or another
http://www.clipconverter.cc/addon/ If you're using chrome, use the bookmarklet. When you're on the page you want, just click on the bookmark and it will take you to the conversion page.
^^ use that one. only thing it fails to do is videos that are high quallity, will not be sopported by mobiles somehow.
Thanks for the input fellas I really needed a way to download stuff like this for myself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sv0bNL9QujM Which by the way sounds way better than the Filipino original... call it unpatriotic or my weeaboo intuition at work LOL
I use that too... for videos. What I needed was a way to convert the audio from a Youtube video, into an MP3 THEN download it as an MP3. DownloadHelper does have that feature, but you've got to pay extra.
You can always convert the MP4 to MP3... Extra step, I know, but better than relying on a website for conversions. Everything is done offline and independent of websites working or not.
I've tried and am going to stick with Devon's suggestion. I don't use Chrome but am grateful that they also have a Firefox add-on.
ListentoYouTube is a nice app, but it is not working sometimes. I met the situation several times before. There are lots of listentoyoutube similar sites, you can try video2mp3 or Apowersoft video to mp3 converter.
