ARDS code help.

well, thise code for pokemon pearl is supposed to let me get any pokemon by subtracting master balls, but all i keep getting is arceus (trying for a shroomish). any help?

How this code works is:

Pretend the pokemon you want is Mew. Mew is number 151 in the national dex, so u do 493-151=342. so you throw away 342 master balls. After that, you hold L and go into the wild.

It usually helps me to hold L during the black screen right before the battle.
