Right, Back in October I started filling out an application form on the internet for the army. My application is still on the internet and I check it every so often so it doesn't get deleted by the server. I'm wondering if anyone can give me any pointers in which they will be looking for or anything that I can say for my chances to be heightened of being successful. Take note that is this is just for an interview and if I am successful in this stage then I will have to go through a series of tests and physical examinations (I think). Other general information will be accepted and appreciated.
Mentioning things such as: - You're fit. - Willingness to learn. - Excellent teamwork Mentioning stuff like that can only help your cause.
And when it get's close to getting the job, make sure your avaible work hours are consitant, and are extremly flexable. I got mine because I could work 7 days a week if required (not that I do) and the only time I want partially free is friday night (all shift times were 6:30am to 12am-friday finishes at 6pm )
Awesome stuff, I have specified that I do lots of exercise per week. And I have mentioned that I have learnt about a broad range of subjects, thus implying the willingness to learn. I haven't of yet put anything in about teamwork but I will have to add that. I will also mention that I can do flexible work hours. Thank you both for inserting information here.
Now that I think about it..not sure if the work hours thing applies, I forgot about the army part-they might choose your hours for you XD Just be fit strong, and prehaps...willing to work in/as a team and lead if nessacary.
LOL,judging by your comments in the Hitler thread, can I ask if its the British or German Army your trying to get into?
>_< British Army. I don't know whether I want to go into Frontline or Tech. But every passing day I am more inclined to go into Tech.
Ive talked to several soldiers that do tours in Aftowelistan. They told me they get about 30 bullets and not much else-so if your caught in a fire-fight,youve had it. I would join the RAF instead.
Death doesn't bother me much though. It'll just mean I have to be more accurate. Learn or die. Interesting. I don't wanna crash a plane. I would feel guilty and would get carried away.
Punctuality, politeness, and how you present yourself is also very important. This coming from an employer's perspective, you don't know how many people I've turned down for a job because I knew they weren't polite, looked dirty and not tidy.
