Most of us own iPhones/iPod touches/iPod nanos and classics, right? Once you get an iPod, you seem loyal to Apple, and when a new device comes out, you want it, so you get it. I've been loyal to Apple for 4 years now. I like the company, seen the funny ads, etc.

Notice how... something is different? Here are two articles on ZDnet that should be debatable:
Apple bans iPhone hackers from iTunes App Store & Apple cleans up App Store, goes PG-13

You see a pattern? Apple. Banning developers and hackers. From creating and purchasing apps in the App Store. A serious WTF.

This all makes me think, when I jailbreak my device, I can't download anymore? I jailbreak to edit save files and that's all: Song Summoner naming one of the apps I edit the files for: 999 HP/SP, 195 of all attributes (doesn't like 255, lol) for my characters, and 99 of every item. It's quite stupid to see hackers not being able to buy anything. It wouldn't matter one bit, however, is all this will condone piracy. Jailbroken device users have seen pirated apps... who doesn't want a $10 game for free, no?

Also, the App Store goes PG-13. Nothing sexual is allowed in it. What I don't understand, however, is that the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue and Playboy (yes, Playboy) apps are allowed. Earlier today, I was watching the news, and it was said that SI and Playboy are "trusted sources". Excuse me? I can see SI, but Playboy? You won't allow a 15-piece sliding puzzle of an ecchi-style anime, but you allow Playboy... *scoff* The reason behind all this is... the iPad! *gasp* The iPad would be used for "computing in the family". First of all, the iPad is not meant to replace your PC or Mac... it's just an oversized iPod touch (or an 80s-style iPhone, as I like to call it). Second, still no multi-tasking and Flash. How's an iPad supposed to be used as a computer anyway?

*insert something weird here* Here's the new-and-improved iPad, now with true multitasking and Flash. Another new thing... the name: iMaxi. *end*

Parents may like the idea, males may hate it, but revolving around a device that no one will want?

Steve Jobs must've turned into Maleficent, as Apple is poisonous.

No company is different. They want money, they get money. End of subject.

Apparently Apple takes on the same principles as Nintendo. Innovative and Family-oriented.

I love how they ban hackers...like we actually use the iTunes Store...

I really don't understand how someone can think that Playboy app' is more child-friendly than Wobble. Wobble!

    I just noticed...
Well, when I installed a pirated copy of Tap Tap Coldplay, Tapulous banned my device. Ironic enough, Tapulous started out in the homebrew scene, correct?

I think they want to start a new policy on the "racy" material apps. First, they pull ALL of them, then once they are all gone, start over with letting the more tasteful ones come back. Who knows how long that will take to happen, but I figure that's the way it will ultimately go down.

God damn I love fan girls/boys. A company does something and some people feel betrayed, OH NOES.

Apple is not the fucking messiah of computing. When will people get it into their heads? They are company that has enjoyed recent success with their bestselling products (iPod and iPhone). Nothing more, nothing less.

Remember how from the late 80's to the early 00's they were basically a failure? Apple Darwin anyone? A Newton entice you lately?

    I know they aren't.

The other thing, Apple's huge price tag goes to the hardware and labor. The OS is UNIX-based... and how dare they charge for OS upgrades. Live free, run Linux.

unix is not linux. In fact, linux is properly named gnu/linux, with the gnu being a recursive acronym that stands for 'gnu's not unix'. unix is not usually free, and linux was developed to be an alternative to unix.

I still have access to it. I'm on an iPod Touch though, maybe they only banned people who unlocked their phones or whatever.

Apple is acting like Ninendo. Bricking your stuff. Screw them! When getting ROM Apps, don;t go online becauseeveryone knows that when going online, your device get checked. Or at least don;t get updated on firmware right away. Everyone I know that have an iPod has jailbroken it one way or another and they have AVATAR the ame on their devices and they play it often. They all tell me, don;t go online, unless it's safe! SO you won;t get bricked!
