There is a part in the game where it freezes(using R4). When you reach the part where Pheonix is illustrating the rotation of the chair in the crime scene, the game freezes. This is in episode one. Anyone experiencing same problem?

You should try updating your R4 with the latest kernel or firmware.

    http://www.r4ds.com/download-en.htm or

    http://linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/ (the fastest one)

Or it could be your MicroSD.

Whta do you mean by " it could be your micro SD?"

Oh sometimes your MicroSD's speed might not be fast enough to properly run a game. That's why you choose the best brands, Kingston and Sandisk. Anyways do what I posted first before you ask more questions.

I played the rom in an emulator and it worked well. So its not corrupted. Is there a way to transfer the save file of an emulator to my R4?

If the save file is the correct type, I think you can just drag and drop.

Only if it's 512KB because that's the size of the saves that R4 uses.

Jesus guys when games freeze it's read/write speed, this is basic knowledge.

What to do: Backup your save games, right click the drive in explorer and choose to format the card. This will delete everything on the card. This means that once you re-add files they will be clustered together, storage devices work with small clusters, sometimes files get spread over a lot of clusters that are far apart, this means that in order to read the data the laser (for harddisks anyway) needs to move more to read than if they're clustered together; this can decrease speeds.

The same goes for MicroSD cards more or less, reformatting usually helps, if not then the base read/write speed might just be too slow.

Yeah but the NO$GBA Saves are 8Kb. Is there a way to convert it?

You can set the save type in the options.

Yes I stated that before but he said that he's got a Kingston so reformatting should fix the problem.

Ill try those things. And about the save types, I tried 512k as save type but when I save the game, it failed.

Hmm that's strange, it shouldn't do that. Make sure you have the latest no$gba just in case.

an R4 sav is 512kb yes, but its not the same time as an emulator save. all sav types need to be converted between programs/crats before they will work. And even then its not guaranteed

Well, I managed to reformat my micro sd card. And thankfully, it fixed the problem. From FAT32, I reformat it to FAT. Thanks everyone.
