I have. First one was when they gave out mew on the old red and blue days Still have him, I also have manaphy, darkrai, arceus. I missed out on a few because I missed out by one day (the original celebi ), not in america (lost dragonite lvl5o...) and just lacked platinum (shaymin event unlock and darkrai unlock). Sure I could cheat for these, but I refuse to cheat (that and pokesav has too many options for me ) plus I just like getting out there with my ligit copy and grabbing one during my outings... Lucky it's not like the old days where it's held in some mall with kiddies all over, just inside eb games or kmart and because it's wireless anywhere I could just be out the front, grab one quickly and go home XD So...who else bothered?
I never went to the events but I did have a surfing pikachu and an amnesia psyduck back in the day.... Oh and I have a manaphy form the pokemon rangers game....
