I need one badly since my sister went on the Vista computer and got a nasty spyware/virus. It pretends to be an antivirus program, forcing you to scan, and then buy their product, and then "restricts" sites like myspace, thepiratebay, etc.

I removed most of it, by using cd (location) del (file) but the restricted part (it comes up with its own page) was still there, (I scanned on everything I had) so I just ended up wiping it. The only thing being a problem was the Sims3 disc since it's over 4.7 GB.

I want a program that only lets you go on the sites specified, and have absolutely no other sites run through. (If I knew the site that she was on, I would have blacklisted it through my router). I want it to however, have a ruleset that still lets you use bittorrenting connections. So like enable all connections through utorrent, would be the ruleset, but only allow google, myspace, thepiratebay through firefox or any web browser.

If possible, I'd like it to run in stealth so you can't just end the process and lift the restrictions.

I'm also looking for a program that monitors keystrokes, takes screenshots, sends data to a remote location (my email) of all activity on that computer. I have one, but it doesn't work for Vista. This obviously runs in stealth, and can only be brought up with a combination of keystrokes. PM me that information if you know of one since it's very borderline ethics.

if you have firefox and adblock plus there is a subscription for abp that contains a huge list of malware domains which it blocks (the downside is it causes a slight delay at firefox startup, and it only works with firefox 3 upwards)

    http://adblockplus.org/en/subscriptions, 3rd from bottom.

What you're asking for is really quite difficult, because you still want bittorrent. I don't know any software that can do that on the users PC. (I do know software that works on a dedicated PC and does it)

bad link loony http://adblockplus.org/en/subscriptions yours had a comma in it.
so you need a keylogger.here is one that sound like every thing you need if you dont mind paying the cash for it http://www.softpedia.com/get/Security/Keylogger-Monitoring/Beyond-Keylogger.shtml you can lok for less featured free ones at http://www.softpedia.com/ just type in keylogger and put the freeware filter on.

Well at least it's something. I don't have to have the bittorrent stuff, but I'll start with this. Thanks.

A lot of the freeware ones are limited to a certain amount of time and then expose themselves. Not cool. Thanks for the name though.

EDIT: So I basically got everything I needed. I've got the ABP subscription, keylogger is all set up, and COMODO Internet Suite, (I'm using that for the firewall) and locked out the Administrator profile to everyone but me. Those standard privileges sure are annoying, not letting you install stuff, or even modify anything not in their own profile folders. Kinda nice.

So basically, if something needs to be installed, they need to ask me. If something needs to be enabled, they need to ask me. I set up the firewall to deny ALL requests not already enabled by me. So pretty much, I have to be on their account, and do exactly what they were doing to enable that connection.

That keylogger also has a small blacklist option that lets me specify which sites to block, which once I find out what site it is, I'll be able to block it.

Thanks for the help guys. I appreciate it.
