Any ideas - micro card failing

I have a DSTT card and the latest firmware 1.17a12 i think it's called. I've been using it for a long time, but for some reason I can't get it to work for some games with a Kingston SDHC microcard (4 GB). It's only some games that failes - Fifa 9, Mario and Luigis bowsers inside story and more. They all work on a Sandisk microcard, a transcend and Luxor - but nok on Kingston. All the others are SDHC also.

I've formatted all the cards with the Panasonic formatter..

I'm confused ???

 

Try your basic format , click right on your microSD lettter drive and see format, and do a full format in fat32

I did format it with the basic format before I tried the panasonic - it didn't to the trick so I got the panasonic recommended and tried that. It didn't work. I hvad sth DSTT 1.17a12 firmware and the games works perfectly on just about all other microcards I've tried... What does dsm0107.zip do?

 

It is also DSTT_1.17a12_english just there code for it

Anyway try (U) roms of the games as the fixes are for most US ROM's with DSTT_1.17a12, and NOT english versions (E) of the games

But why should it be the ROMs when the ROMs works on other microcards with the same firmware? Sorry to ask, but I really don't understand the "mecanism" of a microcard - I just don't understand why they work diffently on the same software...

I might be a code written into the software that works with U version roms, but codes can be diffrent with E version roms

 

MicroSDs, USBs and other similar things have a limited lifespan, that's why you don't de fragment one, they work fine fragmented. It could be that your microsd is old and dying.
