I have a dsi and want to download dsi ware but to use dsi shop my dsi needs an update it is currently at version 1.2 so if i updated it will it be updated to version 1.3 or will it go directly go to version 1.4.
I guess, yes... Unless there's an option to choose which version to download (this is very unlikely to happen though), don't update your DSi firmware for now if you're using flashcarts.
It will update you to the latest firmware if you update it. 1.4 What flashcart do you have? There are quite a few with 1.4 fixes now.
I am using ez flash vi and I have heard that you need a ds lite to use it on dsi after upgrading dsi to 1.4.
But since you haven't updated to 1.4 yet, you can install the latest flashcart firmware, then update your DSi, and it should work just fine.
