if you want a good game try these three: megaman star force 3 black ace, pokemon mystery dungeon exploers of the sky, dokapon journey.
The topic creator asked for action, adventure, and racing.. you guys are suggesting RPGs and crap. The Need For Speed games are on the DS but I heard they sucked. Mario Kart DS is alright, and Diddy Kong Racing DS is great. I've heard good things about Asphalt Urban GT (I believe that's its name). Aside from that I can't help much in racing. Action titles are all over the map. Zelda: Phantom Hourglass is great if you don't mind using the stylus for everything, and all 3 Castlevanias are worth a playthrough (Order of Ecclesia being the best :X). There's also Metal Slug 7, Contra 4, and Mega Man ZX. True adventure games are somewhat harder to come by on the DS. There's Trace Memory (Another Code in Europe), Hotel Dusk, The Dark Spire, and Etrian Odyssey (The latter two are more RPGs, though). I believe they ported Dragon's Lair, too. At any rate, I'm sure you can find something that will interest you. Remember that you can add filters to your search with the green "plus" button, and I think you can sort by genre. Hope this helps.
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days is a must. But also games lik Dragon Quest & Final Fantasy are nice games to play.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 is a game you need to play gorgeous graphics and an intriging storyline however of if you haven't played kingdom hearts series to the ps2 you will be very lost... in the other hand there is the Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney series those are incredible good and fun. check it for yourself. hotel dusk 215 is also a nice game as the trauma center series are. in racing diddy kong racing and mario kart ds are the best ones. also you can give a try to need for speed nitro and GRID those are nice too in rpg.... there are so many to this platform but i have to reccomend you: dragon quest V, super robot taisen og saga endless frontier, final fantasy IV, pokemon platinum and nostalgia... in horror: good ol resident evil, dementium the ward, theresia, touch of the dead. there you have some...
