Any games like Sands of Destruction for Ds????

The title says all. I really enjoy sands of destruction and would like to play games similar to that. Please recommend!

Well Sands of Destruction is the first game that i played. And i like the battles that are conducted in sands of destruction soo... i guess it would be games that are similar in the concept of battling.

 

That would be a problem....

These games that Jeremy posted are good but the systen is turn based. measn that you just select the attacks and the game does the rest.

The style used on Sands is quite unique.

Still a really similiar game on battle systen to sands would be the Valkyria profile Series.
To bad that the only DS game of VP is and tatic game... but the battle systen is almost there.

 

The sands of destruction battle style reminds me of chrono cross for some reason. and the valkryia profiles.
So Sands is the only game for the DS with that kind of battle system.

 

the battle system of sands of destruction is quite unique....... i havent seen a game with a battle system like that but like SoulSin said Valkyria Profile is similar to this game, try that one.

 

I want more games like that. its much better then Final Fantasy 4's battle system.

You should try out Shim Megami Tensei - Devil Survivor
It haves a greeeaaat story and lots of way to custom you character

 

but the problem is, it's not like Sands of Destruction in any points

 

I believe that our friend is looking for a RPG with randon battles.
Where that battles works with turns (not active) but it envolves more action than just selecting menus.
And maybe a few button smashing :X


So if you look at that point we SROS: Endless frontier and the new one coming soon.
Probably the game that fits in that discription.

VP games fit that, but only on ps1, psp or ps2. The DS version has the same battle systen somewhat but was adapted to a tactical game.

Come to think about it, Sonic and the Dark BrotherHood has a battle systen that fits in that description, except that you use the stylus instead of the DS buttons.
