    It's my sem-break and I'm hunting for games! ^_^
Know of any nice ones you'd recommend?
Preferrably GBA, but DS is good, too...

I'm an otaku btw, so if it's based on or looks like anime, it would be super great.
...oh, and mechs! Gundam, super robots, Zoids, etc...

    Thanks! ^_^

    ...uhh... Is that in Japanese?
I suppose there isn't an English version...

I'll be okay if it's in romanji...but I'm still learning kanji, unfortunately...

Yes - Jump Ultimate Stars is entirely in Japanese, though I'm not sure exactly what set of characters it uses. My friend picked it up at a local game store when some... erm, misinformed... person bought it and hadn't realized it wasn't in English, selling it back to the store for eager fans to pick up later. My friend seems to be able to navigate fairly well, albeit with some online help for some of the menus. It's a fighting game that pits various anime characters against each other - the anime version of Super Smash Bros, in a sense.

As for other games - I'd suggest a lot of stuff, but it really depends on your tastes in games. Do you like puzzle games, RPGs, simulation (Cooking Mama, Sims, ect...), strategy - what?

well, I've played pretty much every Rockman, Final Fantasy, and Pokemon game there is...
...as well as Zoids Legacy and Fuzors and GundamSeed Destiny (yeah, I had trouble reading those),
Fire Emblem, SRT OG 1+2, Shaman King, and heaps more,
though I've yet to get my hands on DBZ games

...as for genre...I'm pretty much an all-around gamer but I suppose RPGs are my favorite,
fighters close by at second and, naturally, as an RPGer, I like puzzle and strategy games.
Come to think of it, there isn't really a genre I don't play. ;D

All the better of the graphics/art is good, though...like Riviera or Yggdra Union

lay Golden Sun on GBA. Its awesome. 1 + 2 are amazing RPG games and will keep you busy for a LONG time. Also give Lufia: Ruins of Lore a shot. Another really cool RPG on the GBA. Legacy of Goku series on the GBA are great too. I'm sure there is a Zoids game. If you like old school, the SNES has some amazing RPG's for you (Star Ocean, Lufia, Mario RPG, Terranigma, Treasures of the Rudra, Treasure Hunter G, Dual Orb, Chrono Trigger to name but a few). Then the PSX has some great RPG's as well. Try Legend of Dragoon. That game is so good.
