any devices out to mod a wii externally?

    i want to know if there is any devices to mod a wii externally, like ds flash carts, all i've found so far is this and i have no idea how to use it or what it does. i would dont really feel like gutting my wii, and taking the risk of incorrect soldering, i would if i had to, but i dont wanna. so, is there any external mod devices?

    I remember seeing something back when i spent all my time on WiiChat, but it involved cutting a hole in your will im pretty sure lol
