had you ever played fifa09 before on that computer?

my other guess would be the monitor has defects. does the sound continues to play when it's stuck?

indeed, if it was the monitor, the sound would go on finely.

you might need some maintenance on your computer, like driver update, disk cleaning, etc.

What are the specs of your computer? Sounds like a graphics card problem here... Have you checked for new driver updates?

kaspersky is good, so i wouldn't go and say it didn't detect the virus.

same for me, but the strange part is he has played it before.

did you change the graphic options when you got your monitor?

    Could be overheating.

maybe your monitor and graphic card isnt compatible?
i know its a very weird suggestion but what if it is?

there are no 'compatibility' levels with monitors. If they have the right connectors they will work.

Maybe your monitor isn't connected properly, and thus when you play, the connector might move, causing the computer to crash.

Monitors are generally the most stupid part of a system. You can connect them, unconnect them, hot-swap them, change them, turn them on and off, and nothing should happen with the system. This is because of the way a monitor gets its data (VGA/DVI). The system ends caring after the port and any default driver for the monitor should work. If you have visual, the monitor isn't the issue.

Just out of interest, what happens if you reconnect your old screen? Also, did you install any monitor drivers or other new components, say, a HDD?

No it's connected properly..I have 2 types of monitor connector to the graphic card..one is blue(old) and the other one is white(new)..I use the white connector..
Q : what happens if you reconnect your old screen?
    A : Nothing wrong.

Q : did you install any monitor drivers or other new components, say, a HDD?
    A : No,there's no monitor driver provided,I only got a Manual,a CD,2 monitor connector and it's auto-install...I think..
