can an animal crossing wild world rom (used with acekard 2i/akaio 1.5) be used to connect with the animal crossing city folk for wii connectivity? for either transfer or ds suitcase? i've tried my hardest to make something work but i never really checked if it was possible in the first place. thanks in advance.

It will work, as long as your flashcart (R4, Ackeard, etc.) supports it. Some flashcarts don't work correctly on connecting the DS to the Wii
    Try this:

oh, i have already tried to connect following those directions. it just says "an incorrect ds game card has been inserted." since it's a flashcart i'm using, i was assuming that no one ever got it to work. but now i'm wondering how to get the acekard to support it? :-\

What firmware are you using on your Acekard?

    Taken from the AKAIO Wiki:

Try that, see if it will work.

Do you have the latest AKAIO loaders?

I have bad news, straight from Normmatt (the AKAIO programmer).

Apparently it can't be done on a flashcart due to the way the download play feature to the Wii works. Which isn't the same as the wireless connectivity for other games like Pokemon. (I don't know the details, but I trust Normmatt's opinions).
