Hey guys, I've had my real r4 for a while. It's the dark gray/black card that says,"R4 Upgrade Revolution for DS (ndsl/nds)" so it's a real card, I was using a 2gb card for a while and had like 20something games on it, now I'm using an 8gb card and I have like 63 games on it, and so far there hasn't been any problems. Is there anything I should look out for?
Just make sure you back up your saves periodically, they love to get corrupted. Who cares? Considering that the original game cartridge was made by nintendo they're ALL fakes.
It's not a fake, just a clone. The R4 "upgrade". Back on topic, there isn't anything you really need to worry about. Just keep an up to date backup of at least your save files in case your MicroSD gets corrupted.
There might be a limit on the number of games you can have in a single folder. It's easily solved by grouping roms into different folders.
