Am i doing this right?

Ok. I have spent the past two days trying to get a emulator to play Pokemon Ranger. So im going to tell you step by step whats wrong. (Im a little frustrated)


Bad screeny! I clicked the No$GBA The icon is a whit almost completed triangle. I believe it is 2.6 version. The free one xD

-it also covers Common Issues
and I think you have a corrupt nds rom...

you might need to redownload....

 

I think no...that what happen if the emulator can't support the rom.
the problem is,his emulator is way to old and need to be updated.
use Addon if possible...

 

The old version can run the game...

and incorrect settings and/or cheats that he may have entered could crash the game...

-and an addon is not needed to play and finish this game.

 

But no$gba recognized the nds file. (no$gba only lists .nds, .gba)

So I think he has had it extracted already.

EDIT: Oh, sorry, it seems he set it to "All files". Follow Seph's instructions ^ .

 

Wow guys! Thank you so much!!!!!! This is the most useful forum I've seen in a while. ( I'm not being sarcastic xD) Ok ill try downloading a newer version emulator AFTER i extracted the rom. BRB

EDIT: I didnt find the link to the updated emulator. I wen to the link blade showed me and there was n link on the forum post.

 

I'm thinking she won't like that game on a emulator for the same reason I do. As far as I'm concerned replacing a stylus with a mouse sucks! But that's just my two cents! ;v)

Nevermind blade. I extracted it with inrar and it works like a charm!!!! Thank you guys this is the most help i have ever recieved. Im going to suggest romulation everytime someone asks now

 

The one I posted is the updated version, if you need to know.
-you don't need to set the save type anymore with it...

 

Check you have 2.6a in Help>About. It's the latest.
