alright, I hate something, not sure what yet..

  1. I tried downgrading my white psp, because on a few sites it said I could manipulate one of the little wires/transistors or whatever (similar to the black one) and that would create a pandoras battery, except now my battery does not work, and my computer wont pick up the memory card drive, + though, I can still play the psp when I use the power cord, and the psp does detect the memory card

    the battery does die on you when you do that :| so you'll need a new one

    The battery will not function like a normal battery anymore. Power will still be transferred to your PSP, but you cannot play games. It will load only the magic memory stick. Although if you want to make it work again, you can reconnect the pin that was desoldered/cut. Then the battery will work like normal again. I'm guessing you wrote this post after you downgraded the PSP. Either get a new battery, or reconnect the pin somehow.
