Allow users to show what flashcart/firmware they have in sidebar

    To make things a little easier, users should be allowed to post what flashcart or firmware they are using in their
    << sidebar part of their profile. This saves the inevitable, when users usually post for help, but don't post what they are using.

    You can put one there in your personal text. But that's the personal text...and I don't wanna do that.

    this would involve modifying the forum code, which is far more work than its worth.

    @Loony: Custom Profile Fields do just what the user asks, enable it and you are ready to go, make a custom profile field & it is done, no involving of modifying forum code.

    @Seph: Like a poll? Good idea.

    Like a poll.
    Something like how much users use that flashcard without them having to vote.
