Who else got this and enjoyed it? I got the hunter edition, the face hugger is a nice touch I have to say the alien or "xenomorph" group seems to suit me, very simple to use, the preds got my head spinning from power management...and humans is standard fps action My friend is also reporting issues with the bonus level codes, just to let you know...soon I shall try
My mate had issues as well, they should have made the demo with single player content incase that happens. Oh well, patches are being rolled out
i played this game two months ago and loved the game. if ur wondering how i managed to do that i play halo3 and go to events called MLG and they where promoting the game and i was able to sit down with a couple of my friends and play it and honestly its not a bad concept game i kinda like the whole multi playing game preditor rocks with the stealth and jumping and trowing but the alien is so hard to control u hafto have a good eye to play as that and the human come on who wants to play as that its called AVP for a reason LOL but the grab scenes are pretty graphics and AWSOME
Tomorrow a second game s Alien vs Predator 2 gets released (I've got the game) with new and better preformance and better graphics.
I played the demo, then dismissed that Rebellion (the devs) don't know what they're doing. The multiplayer level was trash, and having deathmatch (not team deathmatch) as it's only mode? C'mon. That and climbing with the Alien is more of a chore than it has to be, in AvP1 and 2 it was really easy, now it's all glitchy and slows me down all the time. Hell Rebellion made the first on, I don't know what they're doing with this one. I don't hate it, I just find it average and worse than AvP1 and 2. I'm passing, I'm too busy wanting to get Bioshock 2, Heavy Rain, and Battlefield Bad Company 2 (that will trump it's multiplayer component).
THe demo was crap, the real game as I have has a single player mode and infact a story for your perticular character (even the alien player has a name..."number six" which is better than "rookie" for the marines and "brother" as the predator XD) There is plenty of other modes, the demo just skips out because (like in the old pc versions) multiplayer was the main point, they had campain modes but...people focussed on multiplayer. And there was a few glitchy in the demo version, my friend downloaded that crap...last night despite him lagging we enjoyed a great match...I gotta remember never to be the same species as him...only when we differ I can beat him Speaking of which, I'm about to have a round...anyone want a go?
