Hey guys. I was curious who listens or have listened to Alex Jones before. If you don't know who he is, he is a Internet Radio host that goes over politics and governments and things of such nature. I used to listen to him but I don't really care to muich for him now. What do you guys think about Alex Jones? His website is called Infowars.com

All of these right-wing American media personalities are almost interchangeable. I just briefly did some background-research on this guy; I think that he's trying to tell people what they should be thinking, and the things that he thinks that they should be thinking are pretty crazy. He also seems to use common issues that a lot of people agree on as a gateway to popularising his own opinions on related things.
I don't like being told what to think and I don't like being patronised; that's what his words seem to be trying to do IMAO.

Yeah, I kinda agree. It's seems like a motive of brain-washing. After all his Infowars slogan is "There's a war on for your mind". I quit listening to him. I believe in some things though but Alex takes it to a point where you get scared and you think your helpless. That's why I stopped watching him.

Yeah at least he woke me up though instead of me being some mind slave thinking of the good the government does us. I do infact have my own thoughts and ways of thining about it all, I just think Alex has let drive him up so much that he's no longer sane.

do you know what? thats my opinion on all these guys.
yeah governments aint perfect, theres a lot goes on on that we dont know even, and believe me i know some things http://www.eliteukforces.info/sfsg/
but my opinion is these guys(the government) do what is BEST for the majority. So we got some bad secrets, we tortued some terrorist or whatever, fuck em, if they are plotting another 9/11 i'll come down myself. if they're innocent, tough, luck of the draw, its a whole nation were trying to protect
all these conspiracies theories should stop because trust me, the government will not fuck up a country intentionally

Yeah but I'm not saying it's my Governemtn's fault entirely. I think its the FED's. If anyone is in control they most certainly are. Now I can't really agree with the 9/11 part because first of all, violence aint always the answer. 2nd I think the government did indeed have something to do with 9/11, just a couple months before hand there was plotting of an attack on US soil. Also there were a few articles talking about just a day before the attacks there were power outs within the towers and a couple of people in the government were told not to fly to New York the next morning. Now the blackouts, isn't that a perfect time to set some bombs?

like i said these conspiaracy theorys should stop. governments will only ever do what is right for the majority(or what they think is right, and they have some pretty clever people).
just let it go and trust that these people are doing their best. they might do some immoral or senseless things at times but they know the bigger picture. certainly more than some conspiracy radio channel. Just let it go and try to live your life best you can without ever worrying about things you cant control.

Yeah, I agree with a little of what he says. He seems pretty wild though:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=le89JY3Angg I can see how someone pissed off with police brutality could endorse his sentiments.
How is torturing innocent people ever justifiable? And torture has been proven to not work in most cases anyhow. We're supposed to be fighting terrorism to preserve the rights of innocent people; not take them away ourselves. Saying that it's all fine because we need to protect our own people implies that the innocent life of a British person is worth more than that of a foreigner.
The magnitude power given to people in government means that mistakes that they make with that power are magnified and can affect the citizens that they govern. If a government makes mistakes, the people feel it; whether or not a government has "fucked up" is subjective, but a lot of people agree on some things (like economies and punishment for crime).
That's what governments should do, it's hardly true of the majority though.
Mindlessly obeying the government is a terrible idea. Our government (the British government) is under our control (to an extent).

You are very right. It seems that msg doesn't really care what go's on in the outside world so long as the government is doing what they are doing to provide him, even if it means slaugtering people for no apparent reason.

    Lol quotes ahoy! :D
Of all the personalities radicalising modern youths, this Alex Jones guy is easily the funniest : )

because some are terrorists, some are just unlucky.
i'd rather some innocent guy got blamed than 3000 killed in another 9/11 because they couldn't do anything but yeah your right i cant be bothered with it all again im quitting this.

ive looked at that link, that guy is quite amusing. im gonna look up some of his videos :)

Yeah Alex can be quite amusing at times. My favorite one is when he's says "I mean you CAN'T make this stuff up!" It's the way he says it is halarious. One of his videos he asks like a monkey and is scratching under his arms and stuff but I can't remember why, he even dressed up like a clown once. Lol.

Anyway. Alex spends all his time making his movies to get HIS OWN point across. I think he to does brainwashing and not just the government.

9/11 is a kids play compared to what happens in Rio de Janeiro. It's simply the biggest civil war in the entire world. It cooled down a little because of the world cup, but it's a known fact(I hope) that more people die in this civil war than the number of people that die in Gaza Straight.

"Some are terrorists and some are unlucky..."
That's true, but how do you identify innocent people from terrorists? Customs politcs? The same ones that more than often steal your electronics to never return them? The same ones that don't even know what an iPad is? THe same ones that turned a iMac into Swiss cheese?

Well, some people can't even separate imigrants from natives, let alone separate terrorists from innocent people. If you're Mulism, chances are you're misidentified as a terrorist almost everytime.
