    I use both.

Install akio AND with the "akloader' from acekard os.

It adds more compatibility if both are used-i'm contantly changing back and forth in my games so when I found this out I was estatic :D

so just replace the AKAIO loader with the OF loader in the root of the card?

    No.

After placing akio in there is a folder called "ak loader".

    On the acekard site...

    www.acekard.com

    Locate "ak loader"

Latest if you can-and place that into the folder.

If you want to switch modes for certain games, go to rom options and switch from "akio" to "akloader".

Only do that if akio fails to load said game-animal crossing didn't work until I switched modes.

Don't download the full acekard official firmware-not needed.

i think AKAIO 1.4.1 is the best for the acekard i have the acekard 2i and the unofficial version(AKAIO CF) is a lot better than the official.

AKAIO CF is better because you can update it through wifi and it can play games that have anti-pirary patches.

At above: if you dl OsUP for the Acekard it can update it via wifi too. Anyways, thanks.

AKAIO is very versatile (allowing use of official loaders).
