AKAIO 1.6RC1 compatibility

does this new firmware not work with AceKard 2.1 or does it not matter? Every forum i go to talks about AK2i but not AK2.1

 

I dont have a DSi. My Acekard 2 doesnt say i or 2.1 after it. So i guess it is 2.1 yes It does work.

 

AKIO firmwire works on all types of acekard 2

 

I'm using it fine on my acekard 2.1

It will work with either cards as long as they are not clones original acekards only ,
clones bring up two white screens when this firmware is applied.

 

As stated above, you can use the latest AKAIO 1.6RC1 with the Acekard 2, 2.1, and 2i.

As long as your card isn't a fake, then it will run the latest AKAIO.

 

well i haven't gotten 2 white screens, but the word Loading is stuck. so i shall try to redownload the necessary files once more. thanks for the replies

 

That can also happen if the microSD isn't placed correctly or with dirty contacts, remove the microSD, clean it's contacts with soft dry cloth (DO NOT blow into slot) and reinsert it.

 

should only the ak2loader.nds be in the _aio/loaders directory?

 

Download AKAIO 1.6RC2 and drag and drop akmenu4.nds and_aio folder to the root of your microSD card. If it works your card is legit and you'll be good to go with every DS rom out there (including warioware D.I.Y).
