Hi,just wondering about something regarding AK2i.Which one is better:DMA-Quicksave mode or original DMA mode? I tried using both to play Final Fantasy xii revenant wing but i don't see any different at all. What i can confirm is that when i play it without using any DMA mode, the game become slow at certain part especially when it become crowded with characters and NPCs.Thanks in advance.

DMA Quicksave is a new version of the regular DMA mode, which has better patching methods for glitches in games, and faster read/write commands. You should probably use that more from what I've read.

My friend just bought the AK2i and after installing the firmware AKAIO v1.5 the card fail to load any game (it just shows white screen) in DMA Quicksave mode. But when using original DMA mode, the card load the game successfully.Weird enough when he downgraded the firmware to v1.4.1 the card can load the game although DMA Quicksave made is used.Does this means his card is a fake one?

I don't believe you are able to run/start AKAIO at all if it is detected as a fake. Correct me if I'm wrong. Quicksave might be broken in 1.5? Have you tried it in 1.5?

Yeah, i've tried it.The card can still play homebrew such as Moonshell. But when try to load the game in DMA Quicksave mode (in which the color of the 'loading' character turn green), it fail. But when try to load with original DMA (the color of the 'loading' character turn red), it pass.
