AK2i in-game reset problem

hi i just got an Acekard2i and i played some of my games on it and when i try to reset with L+R+start+select the screen turns black could someone help please?

 

Update to AKAIO 1.5 if you haven't already, and install the latest loader from here:

If you still have problems name a couple of games that have this issue.

 

do i install the loader and AKAIO 1.5 or just AKAIO 1.5?

 

Both, install AKAIO 1.5 first (delete the existing firmware first) and then update the loader in the __aio/loaders directory. Just installing 1.5 should be enough though.

 

also will AKAIO 1.5 bypass 1.4 firmware? i can only use it on my ds lite because my dsi is 1.4

 

AKAIO has nothing to do with firmware

There is an AK2i update out there that will upgrade your card to be compatible with DSi 1.4. I'm sure someone will post it for you on this thread.

 

Once your Acekard is updated to be compatible with the DSi 1.4, you can put what ever firmware you want on it. The 1.4 fix is not part of the firmware, and is instead an internal one time fix.

Soft-reset is always tricky, and will not work for every game 100% of the time.
