Hi, I had akaio 1.6 RC1 on me Acekard 2. Working fine. Then upgraded to RC2. Working fine. After playing warioware DIY for 5 hours and then i turned DS on in the morning and when I tap AK2 on the menu it just says loading and freezes. Please help me!

Acekard 2.1, 2.i or just 2 is this?

...I'd advised removing all content from the card to your pc (just copy and paste the lot), format the card, then place it back and see how it goes.

Do you have the latest loaders?

    They were updated yesterday.

Try putting the firmware back on again.

    That may help you.

Connect the micro sd to your pc.

Copy and paste the entire folder set to the pc (make a folder called "BACKUP" so you don't loose it)

    Right click on the drive>format

Make sure it's FAT32 and just start formatting, make sure quick format isn't ticketed and go.

You back up all of your files onto your computer.

Right click on your flash drive in My Computer, then hit Format.

    Then go through the process.

Put everything back onto your card.

Seems that your card may be corrupted...
Try using a different computer and/or MicroSD Adapter. But you likely will lose it.

    Lesson learned:
Backup your save files regularly. (Sorry :( )

You could try to use a file recovery program.
    Like this one:
    http://www.runtime.org/data-recovery-software.htm

You'll probably want the FAT one. And use it right away before trying to do anything with your MicroSD (Other than formatting) to avoid anything being overwritten.

should I use that first or should I reformat the SD card first?

You'll probably have to format your MicroSD first. Then use the program to search for and try to recover any data that may be left on the card.

But, if you want to try and search/scan first, it's up to you (it might not let you though).

    Install the program
    Run the program.

You should be able to just use the "I don't know, use the Default Settings."
Then click "Next" in the lower right of the window.
Select your drive from the list of Physical Drives on the left.
    Click "Next" again
Scan will start, it will probably take a while (says my 8GB Pro Duo memory stick will take about 25 minutes).
Once finished, click on the file system you want to display, and click Next.
It will show all the files and such that can be recovered.

If the computer can read the contents of the micro sd card, then copy first I reckon, always did me well.

I think it still puts them in the Temp directory, declared in the options before you start. Go back and click on the "See Current Options" on the page where you select the drive.

look at the Temp File Dir:.
    Mine was:
    C:\DOCUME~1\Basic\LOCALS~1\Temp
    So I went to
    C:\Documents and Settings\Basic\Local Settings\Temp
And I found the deleted files it had recovered from my PSP.

You could try other programs too.

edit) nevermind about the tutorial, unlike the last one, pandora shows no files at all, unlike the first one which showed the games I have downloaded recently and their sav files. What is going on?

Refer to the help files of the program. I have never used that one. But the Cnet review says it has very in depth help files.

Just remember to not put any files on your MicroSD until you get a working recovery program and recover what files you can.
