Age of Mythology DS help

I downloaded Age of Mythology from this website and it says "Could not access save data. Turn off the power and reinsert the game card" as soon as I boot the game. Does it need to be patched, I guess?
BTW I just read the "How to post" topic. I have an R4 Emulator. Not sure about the version.

 

You mean R4 flashcart. The firmware version is stated on the menu. Have a look around.

 

I seem to be having the same problem Skane is having. Has anyone figured out how to get the game to run on the R4??

 

also have the same problem my firmware is R4 DS v1.18. It's the latest one. Does that mean i have to wait for the next version of firmware?

 

there will be no official next version. the R4 dudes disbanded for one reason or another. some say they got sued, others say they're tired of all the clones
you'll probably have to manually patch the arm7.bin file inside the game. i forget how to do it exactly though

You need to get a patcher from http://www.omgrofl.com/filemgmt/viewcat.php?cid=1. Then get a working ROM that works perfectly on your flashcart, and extract the arm7.bin file from that.

Then open your non working ROM, and select the arm7.bin file that you extracted with the working ROM, and patch.

 

woah any idea which rom can be use ?? and after i patch the arm7 it works but when it came to combat it hang at the animation any idea how to solve this? ;D

 

Try backing up and reformat. Don't be surprised if it doesn't work though.
