After i select either server, a different screen comes up................???

Hi,

A friend has typed up a manual for me to use to download games onto my supercard for my daughters dsi. I have downloaded the WinRAR and now attempting to download my first game. However when i get to the screen to select either Nth American or Europe server (it doesn't matter which one), the screen is different to the one that is meant to come up. It's meant to come up with 'Do you want to open or save this file?', but i get a screen top heading '0434 - New Super Mario Bros (U)(pSyDS) (2).rar-WinRAR (evaluation copy) and the screen has alot of different options to do all sorts of things i have no idea about!!!

I hope this makes sense to someone.

It sounds like winrar is automatically coming up when you click the file, maybe it's downloading it automatically?

 

Did you choose Open or Save when it asked you? You should choose Save, to save the file to your computer. Then once the download is done you will want to open the new file with WinRAR.

do this:
1.choose north american server
2.click save file
3.when done downloading, click the game twice
4. if you see 40 day trial has ended blah blah blah just close it
5.click the button extract to
6. click desktop.
TADAAAAAAH! the game you got is now on your desktop! ask your friend on how to put it into your daughters dsi

 

Or you could just right click.
