SMF is a great piece of software. It's free, secure and is also very stylish. Both sites I run use SMF and I can't recommend a better forum software to use. As long as you don't provide DS ROMs your site shouldn't be in any danger. Your site sounds like a site that will offer pretty much a wide range of DS information, from scene release names and order of release, to even a section for DS games coming soon or something like that. Sounds good to me.

No probs. I'd love to help out, but I'm just wrapped up into too much things at the moment like running my own sites and also keeping up to things in real life.
