There is so much adult content in games in the world. God of war has those sex mini-games, Tomb raider has that nude patch. Should company's be aloud to put this content in it. Is it wrong ? Think of the children ! So is adult content such a bad thing in games ? Or not ?
There's nothing wrong with adult content in games so long as the game has the label indicating that it does.
First of all,children should not be playing games that are not labeled for their age range. Secondly,It's up to the parents. What they allow their children to play, and any reprocussions that result from that, they should take full responsibility.
i don't blame people for using sexual content and anything that is to sex to drive their necessary ideas, products, etc.... it has come to the point where violence has become scrutinized, where having anything with violence would deem it too extreme. it is therefore that people look elsewhere as their source for attraction, which happens to be sex. look at tv shows for instance, though there are shows that have occasional violence like sopranos and csi, most are sexual shows like gossip girls, 90210, sex and the city, ..... even shows like seinfeld uses sex in more sarcastic and ironic way. if we get sex and violence, what do you use for attraction?! we'll all be watching teletubbies.
Porn is awesome, and there's nothing wrong with it, unless you masturbate in front of girls. That's a crime in most places.

Ecchi stuff is better (ricer storyline) anyway i dont think its good idea to shield our kids for adult content after certain ages, because sooner or later you will have to teach them...and parent, if you dont, they will learn it on the internet or worst, on the street. and for those who have narrow minded, dont blame everyone if your kids is expose to adult content, its your job to control your kids. the company who made those game or hacker who make those patch doesnt care for your kids, in order words DO your job..... parent!

I personally think that adult material is fine in games. I also agree with most of the people on this thread that it is the parent's responsibility to monitor and control what their children see or do. I love GTA, I know that it's almost cliche to mention GTA, but it's the most famous example, at least in America it is. I really enjoy the freedom to be able to do what you like in those games. I think that being able to visit a prostitute is hilarious (watching the car rock back and forth), but there is no way in hell that I let my son even see the game, let alone play it. The only time it's even on is after he's gone to bed, and when he's awake the game is put away where he cannot find it. But the content itself is a matter of opinion. If you like or enjoy adult entertainment, have fun with it, or if you don't, stay away from it and quit telling everyone else that what their doing is wrong. When are we going to learn to let other people to be themselves, and accept the fact that we're all different?
true that, it's the reason why there are a lot of crimes involving raping. and mostly they target the innocent bunch, children (does this count as promoting?)
In my opinion there should be more Adult Content, it is the player's/watcher's choice, that shouldn't restrict people, especially with games and hentai because nobody gets hurt in them.
