no just put the folders for ysmenu on the top or root of your sd card and have the ysmenu.nds there also. when you load everything just run the ysmenu like you would a ds game, and from there choose the game. the ysmenu can navigate just like your R4 one.

Sorry to inform you though, but using another loader with R4HDSC or R4 ultra only works about 2% of the time.

I was trying to get Mario and Luigi Bowser inside story to work, and I had to keep turning my DS off after waiting 20 seconds to see if it would actually load to try again. after about an hour it finally loaded, and I beat the whole game without turning my DS off.
    just warning you.

Root means not in any folder. The base of the MicroSD.

    F:\ = Root
    F:\FOLDERNAME = Not the Root

ok so i just extract all the folders from the ysmenu i have downloaded along with the r4 system and put it all on the card, then i put the games that wont work on my r4 into the ysmenu.nds folder and open that up to see of they play ?

Im unto sure if it would work on a r4i sdhc, But yes you put them files onto the microsd card, but you run ysmenu.nds and save it on your ds or dsi first and run your game after that

So boot games normal for your kernal, or boot ysmenu.nds for your games with ysmenu

You can call it what you like in the ysmenu.ini , in the ttmenu folder
