Adding cheats on My R4DS for Pokemon diamond.

I want to add cheats. Plz someone plz expalin how to do this.

 

I don't think you can add cheats, but you can update your cheats.

 

how can i do that?

 

1. download a cheat file from cheat.gbatemp.net (even though they stopped updating it, it still have pokemon diamond cheats)
2. extract it
3. locate the cheat file on your r4 and replace it with the one you downloaded

note* i believe that if you have r4 + ysmenu it can only support the ".dat" cheat files
if you have to v1.18 than you'll encounter problem with cheats. for some reason the cheat only appear for the top of the list games and the bottom of the list game wont have cheats. ex: yugioh, zoo keeper, warioware

 

is that a url? because it says cant find server..i really want some cheats for this game. i went on youtube and there were some videos saying how to do it using cheat code editor and action replay codes. but when i did it i went to the game and it said that it was no cheats for it..i just want to get this done so i can go asleep lol

 

You can go into your r4 website and see if they have some updates.

Find the latest update in cheats.

 

ok..now i replace it with the cheat.dat file i have in my Sd card?

 

Make backup files first, after that just replace the cheats.

 

you need to get .cht files

 

replace it with your current cheat.dat file

 

Also make sure the cheats are r4 cheats.

 

1. how can i tell if there R4 cheats? 2. I replaced the Dat file with one i downloaded and it still said there was no cheats available. what im i doing wrong?

 

1. It should've said so when you download.
2.You were suppose to replace the cheats file or I think its called cheat base or something.

 

sigh..i really have no clue what your talking about. lol im sorry. please be patient with me lol..im on the website you gave me. and all have the date of 12-8-09. which one i have to download? and what cheat base. i replaced thefile but it still said it had no cheats. i can believe this is so hard lol..but again thank you for helping me.

 

Haha its cool, you might have to download all the newest cheats and then replace them onto your sd card. ( If you haven't done so yet)
