okay okay now this thread is completley differant LOL. i wanna know how many people on here do what i do,i downloaded every game i could for my dsi from the ds download and havnt even finished a game and now ive recently put nes and snes on my moonshell and put allmost every game i could think of on my 16gb micro card so i wanna know if you guys are just addicted to downloading games and just put them on ur card just to have them and not actually sit down and play them let alone finish them.. and sumtimes i dont even know what game to play cuase i have so many of them LOL oh and i turn on my ds and browse my card to look at all the games i have......lol is that bad? :-\
I used to do that just because I didn't have internet. I would go to the library or school and just download like 10 different roms at a time. It has added up over the years and I have quite a large collection of every game system that has ever been out up to the N64 Generation. I still am addicted to downloading games, mainly Wii now, but since they're bigger they take A LOT longer amount of time than NDS or the rest. It's not bad at all.
I'm actually also guilty for doing that way back in 2008. I downloaded thousands of NES, SNES, Gamboy/GBC, GBA, N64, Sega & even DS titles like there was no tomorrow. And for the most part I only did it to acquire for myself a good amount of games as part of a games Library I still have on optical discs as back ups. I didn't even played & beat most of them too, I'm just satisfied to just have them as part of a collection. But one thing did change for me though. After having "tested" what the NDS was all about via an emulator & actual DS's my relatives have that they let me play on for a bit, I decided that "it" (The DS) was not for me, along with the PS2/PS3, The Wii & the XBOX/Xbox360. I had this feeling that current gen isn't my thing & I only ever had real "fun" whenever I play with the older stuff. Heck, just give me Super Mario Bros. 1 & I'll probably be contented And though there are a lot more games RomUlation has to offer, I decided to not meddle with the NDS & other stuff anymore. I finally quit getting these newer stuff sometime a year ago & since I already have a huge library I rarely download anything on here, except for when a retro (NES, GBA &/or SNES) Japanese game finally gets a fan translation patch done for it, then that's the time I do get a few games.
yea i just like downlaoding them to have them all on my ds and play them i have all the snes games owned and purchased but i wrather have them on my ds so yea my collection is strong and romulation made it even stronger by letting me put them on my ds and not just have them for home use only. dang this seth guy is awsome!
I used to download ds games like crazy until I had filled up my 8gb card, then I donwloaded movies onto another and then decided to go retro and download nes, snes, gb, gbc and others which can be emuated onto the ds. Finaly I downloaded lots of gba ones.
download download download then happened... OMFG I DONT KNOW WHAT GAME SHOULD I PLAY and now i haven't ended most of the 3/4 of they is very frustrating if you ask
LMAO oh yea i couldnt stop laughing about that i was the same way i put it in my head i want to play one game then i start looking at the other games i have then my mind goes blank like wtf sooo many games sooo little time*sigh* LOL very funny
Well, I personally don't think that I could do that. I don't think my consience would let me. I download a few games here and there. I try them, and if I don't like them or struggle to beat them, or get bored with them, I delete them. So far I think I've downloaded less than a dozen, and haven't beaten any that I've downloaded yet. Maybe I did download a dozen or more or so. Some of them I haven't even been able to play yet. I also intend to delete most of these games after I have beaten them, even if they're replayable with alternate endings. If they are though and they're replayable enough, I might keep them a bit longer. And one day I might just wipe them all off my computer...but they are fun. It's something to do, and I might want to save a few on my computer or download a few more than usual 'for the road' when/if I ever finally get my own place or have to go stay somewhere without internet. Of course, I also don't have a whole lot of points, since I've downloaded two games that I've been unable to play (one, I canceled the download for), and the other I downloaded twice, and still can't figure out how to work the emulator. It's a dream cast game. If anyone thinks they can help me, a PM would be appreciated and I'll tell you my story ^^;. So yeah...I end up wasting points too.
ive got to say thats alot of redownloading i never had that proublem b4 i allways keep up the opend file and drag and drop so i dont have that whole proublem the best person to talk to about that is ace101 ive noticed hes pretty much on every post forum on everything and anthing lol so try him and see whats up but back on the subject I LOVE ROMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Im the same, i think i like getting the game more than i actually enjoy playing it. spent ages trying to get shining force 3, had loads of problems running the emulator and when i finally got it running i never went on it
I do that all the time with my psp. I have like 50 psp games on my hardrive and probably only beaten 3 of them and attempted 5 others.
I am addicted... the past week I have downloaded 200 gigs of gamecube, PS1, SEGA saturn/dreamcast, and retro roms... I'm buying a 2 terabyte Hard drive next week and I'm pushing the limits of broadband... time warner cable is going to be pissed at me
I've downloaded romsets for the NES, GBC, GBA, SNES, N64, Sega Genesis, Sega Master System, and about 200-300 different DS games all in the last year... 75% of the games in the romsets I've never heard of or even attempted to play
