I've known it ever since they took over blizzard. Also don't expect them to be worth paying for.

what it means is that these games made by these developers and supported by these publishers, such as activision, is that they are making games to squeeze every penny from you.

what this suggest is that they make games that will be half and they will make the other half by making you pay for them. what they call dlc or downloadable content.

there is a very good example with the resident evil 5 download. when it was released, many people suggested that the mode should have been included with the game already, but it wasn't and was sold as a download.

call of duty modern warfare 2, though many people say it's good, but i doubt that it's a full game. i'm sure they made the main game and excluded the typical stuff that one would typically find on games from the past. the reality is that you people are being squeezed every penny by these companies and there is great love for it.

look at the modern warfare 2 user reviews by pc gamers. there is something in pc gaming that can't be done on the 360/ps3 consoles. what you can't do in the pc is charge for downloadable content. why? because pc gamers make their own mods and distribute them amongst other pc gamers. why do you think modern warfare 2 lacked the mod ability. the purpose was to try to milk pc gamers.

well its kindda the consumer's fault for paying to play a game that they brought.

DLC in the other hand are differ, because they are not part of the main game only add on, so if you enjoy the main game the developer have already done thier part. IF they make an extra content for that game, you are not entitle to get them for free because you can play the game without those extra content.

before anything, i would like to add i do worry someday the developer might be lazy and make a short game and shove ton of DLC in the future. thats why i dont really support paid DLC unless its really worth it or its really cheap.

yeah but did you not notice how all of the 360/ps3 supporters [developers and publishers and even the paid analyst and journalist] are in this idea. so the fact you don't buy these games, it becomes something you eventually support because you don't have a choice. how, because there are no other company making call of duty or final fantasy or gears of war or god of war or fable or etc.....
who are you going to next, the wii, the one console you hate so much.
