??? Ok, so i recently downloaded an Action Replay max rom (GBA) and whenever I upload it I get a message saying that in order for action replay to work I must turn the switch to on... Does anyone know how I can turn it on or possibly bypass this? I am currently using the Visual boy Advance emulator, version 1.7 or whatever the newest version is... I didn't have time to check... Anyways I checked the button configuration on the visual boy and there is no turn Action replay on switch so, you know... I'd really appreciate it if someone could give me some insight on how to solve the problem.

The Action Replay ROM is essentially worthless, since you can't use it to input codes into a game anyways.

VBA has a built in function that you can use for codes though.

yes I know this but unfortunately it doesn't work with gameshark GBA SP codes and codebreaker if frustrating and hard to understand... there's just too many procedures you must take in order to prevent it from freezing you game or crashing it... *sigh*

Yeah: make sure the [M] code is entered and the code you want to use will work. Right, that's sooo frustrating...[/sarcasm]

VBA DOES in fact work with Gameshark codes, Action Replay codes (which are essentially the same thing, just the space is moved over), and Codebreaker codes. All you need to do is find a website that has the codes (GOOGLE) and copy/paste them. End. Of. Story.
