    How do you install akaio 1.6rc on a acekard2i?

    Download the firmware and put the files onto your Micro SD card.

    Just like any other flashcart firmware. :p

    Download it, (OPTIONAL: format the card), remove the old firmware, copy the new.

    Actually simply reformatting will remove the old stuff so make sure to back up the games and .savs

    Thanks I thought there was more to it than that. What's the loader for? and is there anyway to make it boot to the acekard instead of launching it like a ds game

    Yes I agree ...I made a temp folder moved all over to the pemp folder and reformated the sd micro card anthen put the new 1.6 on then move it all back ...Piece of cake

    Go to DS settings at the bottom of your start up screen then to setting options (arrow pointing at a square) then to where it has "Manual Load" "Auto Load" choose auto load and it will go right to your loader on start up.

    If you ever want to change it back just start up your DS without the cart in it and choose the first option.
