So i recently bought a new acekard2i to replace my good ol original r4. Now all the games i have have been set up for and r4, be it patchs, Arm 7s etc etc. Will these still work fine in an acekard or say do i need clean roms of the select games that have been patched/manipulated? things like Gta (arm7'd) and other patched games that i cant remember. Also .sav files, compatible or no? I know theres a sav file tool floating about that converts Thanks in advance ;D
For the save files update to Akaio 1.6RC1 and from the menu make sure the file extension is .sav not .nds.sav (depends on your sav file) patches should still work.
It would be better to download clean files instead of patched ones. That said, most likely they will work, but you might get erratic behaviour once in a while.
You can change the sav options to ethier nds.sav or just sav on an acekard, depending on what the majority is. And I can confirm that...the only good patched games are translated ones, few in number sadly.
