System Ackeard2i | AKAIO 1.6 RC2 ROM Trying to load 2075 - Shaman King - Master of Spirits 2 (U) Problem I tried to load Shaman King MoS 2, the first thing was the long loading time. Then, when it was loaded, I got the GBA screen and the intro played. It freezed there. So, does anyone know how to fix this?
Do you have a slot-2 flashcart or just the Acekard? If the latter, you won't be able to run GBA roms.
You can't get another Bios, it uses the physical GBA hardware on the DS Have you tried flashing it to NOR on the GBA card and running it like a real GBA game?
Most emulators use the Bios, some emulate well enough that they don't have to (I believe Dolphin doesn't use a BIOS, and the NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, etc emulators don't use official Bios). It all depends on how the emulator is programmed (some Bios are probably harder to mimic than others). But the GBA games on the DS don't run using emulators. They run using the GBA hardware, basically the DS has a GBA built into it, which is only accessible from Slot 2. The hardware contains the official bios (which is where emulators get their bios copies anyway).
