Acekard2i Akaio 1.5 Start>Patches doesn't show up

Ok... I have tried looking everywhere for a solution to this and can't find one. I asked in someone else's thread but got no responses, so I thought I'd ask in my own...

Here is the issue. I got an Acekard 2i for my DS lite. I installed the Akaio 1.5firmware linked off of Acekard.com http://www.acekard.com/download.php and also the loader from http://akaio.gbatemp.net/nloaders/index.html and I followed the install instructions and it works. Everything works perfectly the only problem I have is that in the Acekard menu's Start there is no Patches option. I see Copy and Paste and Delete and System Properties and Cheats and all that but no option for Patches shows up.. so I can't enable soft reset.

Has this happened to anyone else, is there something I am missing? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'd like to not have to keep shutting the system off every time I need to go back to menu to choose another game or w/e. Thanks in advance!

If you are trying to patch something then you don't need to worry because the AK2i auto-patches.

If you are trying to enable soft reset heres how.

-Go to the "Start" menu
-Go to "System Options"
-Keep scrolling through the pages until you find the option to enable soft reset
-Turn soft reset on

Soft reset can be activated by pressing DOWN,A,B,L, and R all at the same time

Wow, thank you so much for solving this for me I really should be a blonde... lol I hear that from like everyone >.< Anywas.. I see now how to do it. In system properties I can scroll left and right.. I did not know that >.< found it and enabled it, thanks!

I was looking it up online but every site that showed videos or pics showed a patches option in the actual start menu... like this...

And since mine has all that but doesn't say patches... I just didn't know it was in system properties... *sigh* thank you, I got this card like probably 3 weeks ago and searched through so many sites and couldn't figure it out. lol.. I'm glad it was something simple... thanks!!!
