Acekard2/Acekard2i Experiment

Ok here's an odd technical question. I have a theory and an experiment in mind. I'm trying to see if I can use the Acekard2i OS and firmware on a regular Acekard2 to see if it will work.

I know it sounds crazy but a Flash Cart doesn't run without an OS. So who's to say the 2i OS won't work on a 2 without trying it? Well, here's my pitch. If someone can provide me with the download files for the all Acekard2i OS and firmware, I will personally test this theory out and see what results turn up.

In all honesty, I can't afford a new DS or a DSi Flash Cart and I use my DSi more often because of a busted hinge on my DS Lite. So if anyone can please provide me with the proper download links or whatever I need, I'd really appreciate it.

 

Acekard 2 and 2i use the same firmware/menu.
