    Hi all,
This may sound like a stupid question - ok it IS a stupid question, but then again....I may just be stupid......

Having lived with R4 for the past year, I finally decided to give Acekard a try.
Now I bought the new acekard2 (DSI compatible) but I have no idea where to find the firmware. The Acekard website is double dutch to me (no offence to the Dutch!) and seems to go on about updating what you already have!
    I HAVE NOTHING!!!!!!
I have no idea what goes on the Acekard....and to make matters worse, my son has a DSi and I have a DS......does this mean I have to download two different sets of firmware!!?!?!?!

I'm so confused......ready to send the cards back and return to ould reliable R4!!!
Can someone please just give me a list of the files I need for the DS and if different the DSi!?!?!

    Yours in Desperation!!

You can find the latest Acekard firmware here:
    http://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/

    I suggest using AKAIO 1.5
    http://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/dl.php/AKAIO_v1.5.rar

You can find the loaders here:
    http://akaio.gbatemp.net:8080/nloaders/

    Thank you so so much.
So I just whack all those files on the root of the SD and all should be well??
And it's the same for DSi and DS??

It's not needed, but you should have it. Download the loader from http://akaio.gbatemp.net:8080/nloaders/ depending on what Acekard you have. Instructions on where to place the file is on the page as well.

^Yes, make sure to extract the archive first of AKAIO 1.5.

The loaders are files that increase compatibility with ROMs. They are updated regularly. Similar to the DAT files for the DSTT 1.17a07 firmware. It's a good idea for Flashcarts, rather than having to modify the whole firmware they just have these files which are easily updated as new Anti-Piracy and such come out for new games.

I hope more flashcarts adopt this firmware feature. I believe currently the Acekard is surpassing the CycloDS in terms of ease of use and compatibility.
I'm thinking of buying a flashcart for my Mother, and it may be an Acekard2i.

    Thanks to you both.

I was under the impression that the loader file was included with the firmware, but obviously not.

And always keep your mother "sweet"....

This specific loader is adapted from the official Acekard team, so it is separate from AKAIO, as it has it's own compatibility loader.
