    Ok, here is my deal.

-acekard 2.i/2.1 dpending on who is using it
    -Both on 1.5.0 firmware
    -Both have latest "akloader"

    Game trying to play

-cop the recruit (tried E and U roms)
-legend of zelda spirit tracks (same again)

Now for zelda I am using the xenopobia patched one to play it 9because the clean rom doesn't), however cop doesn't work at all.

    Here is what I tried

-Got firmware and loaders from sites other than acekard.com
    -Tried reformat
    -Swapped loader loading options

So what could this be, every other games that requires new-ish firmware including gta china town wars works...why not this?

Is there something wrong with my acekard-I know it's official.

From what I understand with the acekard you don't need the patched version of Zelda but the clean rom.

Just make sure you have the most up to date loader from here

    Sorry..I forgot to mention.

    -Already tried un patched
    -Along with latest loader.

I will update my original post.

This was the first thing I tried...again and again.

Sorry but you are doing something wrong as my acekard 2i plays both cop and spirit tracks clean roms flawlessly. Get the latest loaders on gbatemp or use the wifi update on the acekard.

I still have no idea if Acekard 2i would work on NDS lite...

I have to agree. I could not play Spirit Tracks(un-patched) but I updated my akloaders and then I was able to play without any problems. on a side note i even got might and magic to work un-patched. I'm using acekard 2i.

p.s. to yarukinasu yes the acekard 2i works on a Nds lite.

I got them from the akio home page, which is also the same link gbatemp uses...

Latest ak loader, and akio 1.5.

And the system doesn't matter as I am using ether a ds/dslite AND a dsi.

The dsi firmware is still on 1.3.

Then sorry to ask but are you putting the loader on which folder: "ak2loader" or "loaders"?

    err...

    ak2 loader.

It's the only place where I can put it that let's me select which loader to run...why?

Was I meant to put it into loaders?

(I'll be a total idiot if this is the case XD)

    OH MY GOD!

    IT WORKS!

...Can someone explain why putting the loader into both the loader's AND ak2 folder work?

I thought it only needed to be in ak2 loader folder XD

You only need to put it in the loaders folder.

I always thought it went into the akloaders folder-after plaing it there it would show up in the option to change loaders.

    Well thanks anyways :)

heheh. so you finally solved your problem of those games being unplayable! i thought that you were putting your loaders in the right folders....never would have thought of that personally being the problem!! :p

I always thought it went into ak2 folder, this is how i got animal crossing working.

It showed up when I selected the option, but wouldn't work, now it does...

ANyone here know exactly why this works-I find it strange that the loader would show up on the menu but not do it's job until it was also in the loaders folder?

that's weird that it would give you the options to use it, but would never allow you to actually use it.

i have always put my loaders in the /_aio/loaders folder where it says to on the gbatemp site.

    Hrm...

Before I got the loader, the built in "akio" loder option would fail to work with animal crossing, yet once I shoved the loader in that spot I mentioned it worked...and had a different boot colour (like the acekard original format).

I always used the acekard website and even the official akio website...guess I overlooed where the loader was meant to go XD
